French Franks is a popular lunch spot for people working in Newport. They make Jacket Potatoes, Baguetters, Sandwiches and Salads to order. They also have a range of hot and cold drinks and a selection of cakes.

    FoodSection titled Food

On some of my recent visits, I've sampled the "Moo + Blue" Baguette that uses Isle of Wight Blue Cheese. Which was intense, but delicious.

Me and the wife are also fans of their "Franks Caesar" Salad, which is a monster of a chicken caesar salad, packed with checked, bacon and croutons. It's a meal in itself.

    DrinksSection titled Drinks

They have a range of hot and cold drinks, including a selection of teas and coffees.

Our favourites are the Frozen Yoghurt shakes. They are delicious and are now my replacement for a McDonalds milkshake any day of the week.

French Franks is part of a small chain of cafes on the Isle of Wight. In addition to the town square in newport, they also have a cafe on the business estate in Newport along with Ryde and Cowes.

They also have a mobile catering van that can be found at events and festivals across the Island.
