Richmonds bakery is a common stop on me and my wife's weekly trip into Newport. It's a fmaily run business that has been serving that got it's first premises in 2017, although as the sign in their cafe says, they've been baking since 2012, making them over 11 years old now.

    The BakerySection titled The%20Bakery

What sets Richmonds apart from most of the other cafes in Newport is their baked goods. They have a wide range of bread, cakes, pastries and sandwiches.

This is to be expected as they also offer a wide selection of baked goods on their website for special occasions or just to treat yourself.

    The CafeSection titled The%20Cafe

The cafe is always busy on a Saturday and is split over two floors. It plays host to some local groups, such as the ukelele club.

The cafe is very dog friendly and provides treats and water that you can help yourself to for your dog.

    The FoodSection titled The%20Food

The cakes ar Richmond's are alwys worth picking up alongside your coffee. One of my favourites is the millionares slice that is so thick and indulgent that it's hard to finish in one sitting.

This is why we have Richnmonds the title of "Best Cafe for Cake in Newport".
