Probably the smalles coffee shop in Newport with space for only 4 people. They do take their coffee seriously and it's a great place to grab a quick coffee on the go.

God's Providence House is a 16th century building that has been a cafe for over 100 years. They serve a great cream tea and have outside seating in St Thomas Square, perfect for people watching.

Richmonds Bakery is a cafe/cofee shop with premises in newport and in cowes, by the red jet terminal. They have a great selection of cakes and pastries and are a great place to stop for a sweet treat.
I recently has a millionaire slice from Richmonds and it was so decadent and delicious. I would highly recommend it.

Cafe Isola is a great place to go for brunch. They have a great selection of breakfast and brunch options and a great selection of coffee and tea.

If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of some of the busier cafes in Newport, then one holyrood is a great place to go. They have a lovely garden at the back and it's a great place to relax and enjoy a coffee.

A cafe can be a great place to get together for a business meeting or work for a few hours each morning. The Quay Arts Cafe is a great place to go for this. They have a great selection of food and drink and a great atmosphere.
Large tables, free WiFi, and space to plug in your laptop make it a great place to get some work done.

Ok, so it's primarily a softr play centre, but JR Zone also has a great cafe on site where families needing a break can put their feet up while the kids play.

Honestly, I perceive snacks and ladders as more of a bar/restaurant than a Cafe, but they do serve a great selection of food and drink.
Really, the core attraction here is their vast selection of board games. You can play something completely new or revisit and old favourite.
Word of Warning - They do close at 11pm, so if you start a game of Kingmaker at 3pm you might not finish it. Trust me, I know.
